Well, about a week ago, I got in an unfortunate curb accident, and nocked the car out of alignment. As I was waiting to get the wheels from SLP, I could not drive it, so all I did was start the car every day, let it reach 210 and shut it down. After I got the car fixed I was driving home, and said I gotta foor it, its been over a week. I was at a stop sign, in drive with ac on, and traction control. The LS1 came to life with a new surprise that had never happened before. I spun the tires alllllllllll the way through 1st gear, and a little through 2nd, before I let up on the new tires. I have been on here before about the posibility of me having a freak. I think this makes it official. I have beaten a modded SS M6, countless turbo imports, and a turbo supra. All the mods I have done are nothing special. I think that the mods kicked in look at my sig.

Yeah i had one once. 93 Z28 LT1 A4- with cold air and only a flowmaster muffler, 13.60's. it had 104,000 miles on it at the time too. I miss that stuff. Its cool when for no reason your car is just quicker than all the others.

An M6 being able to spin the tires through 1st and some 2nd is perfectly normal, 99.9% of M6's should be able to do this at will. It really depends on the road you were on, and how quick you can shift though.

Yeah I wouldn't think you have a freak unless you get it dynoed and it is in the 340 range. My 2000 ws6 is an auto, basiclly stock (but my lid should be here soon), and with the tcs and ac on I can spin my tires from like a 10 mph roll until the end of first and through the beginning of second. And I can also give the tires a good chirp when it shifts into third. Maybe I have a freak too but I doubt it. I have yet to race anybody because as soon as I see some competition, I'm usually stuck behind traffic. Get your car dynoed and make me a believer.

My car isan A4, so Don't think this is that normal at all. I can't dyno the car, not worth me, a 16 year old kid, saving up the money just to see what I'm at. I will only dyno the car once I get serious in the market for performance parts. I am a litte held back thanks to my parents. The won't let me get any performance parts. Thats why I've inly done the free suff. I used my Pdyno, nd it estimated my car at over 400rwhp, but that was with 300 lbs over the correct weight, so it will be a little lower. I think it will be something like 340-350hp. So far wy bes run has been 0-60 5.2s and the est. 1/4mile 13.56 at 107mph. This is a very accurate device if used right so I am certain of these results. All I know is that spinning the tires through 2 gears from a stop with traction control, AC, and Overdrive on is not normal.

Also, I have 10inch wide tires on all 4 corners. They are quite sticky, seeing that they are Goodyear Eagle F1's with a V-tread design. You can see them on my site, near the bottom. I have trouble spinning these, and now all the sudden it isn't safe to drive the car down the road, then floor it. I spun the tires at 30 miles an hour, and I don't think that too normal either. When I floor the car the rear end starts moving around like a bitch, the car goes nowhere, and behind me is a whole lot a' smoke.

I'm not a tire expert and don't burn out my Z, but when I had my V6 camero I went through tires! It spun brand spankin new tires better than properly worn in ones.

Uhhh, can you read, I don't have a manual, but know how to count how many gears are shifted. This is my first car, have driven a 00' Z28, 98' Trans Am, 02' Mustang V6 (Brother's), 03' Mustang GT (Brother's). I have driven these quite spirited, and never got wheel spin like this car.
