I got a 1989 RS Camaro 5speed w. the 2.8 at the age 17.
A little after I turned 18 I got a 1994 z28 Auto.
6 months after I got that one the motor went south, so I went and got my 01 Formula.
I'll never own anything but F-bodies.

When I was 16 I bought my 97 V6 (first car) with ttops for $2750, saved up for two years because i love fbodies! Drove it for a year then some idiot hit it while it was parked. Got a $1,000 settlement from that (because they only assumed half liability).. and it was going to cost about $2,000 to fix the dent in the rear quarter.
Bought a wrecked 94 Z28 hardtop (same color as the v6, black) for $1,500 because they thought it was totaled. Swapped fender and bumper from the v6, got a new spindle and tie rod, and it was back on the road in a day. Sold the v6 for $1700 (with TSP catback and SLP CAI) as it sat, no bumper or fender + dent in the rear quarter.
.. and there's my story.

My first car was a 68' pontiac lemans. Sold it to by a 77' firebird. Sold it to buy a 78' camaro (still have that one). Then had a 98' Z28 (R.I.P.). Now I have a 00' SS and a truck.

Green 1995 V6, M5 camaro (named Betsy after Davy Crockets rifle, i loved the movie when I was a kid) was a Christmas present from step dad when I was 17. It has window tint, CAI, Stereo, underglow neons(don't hate), racing stripes, short shifter....and it is still in my driveway with my Trans Am.

My first car was a 1990 Camaro RS A4 with a 305 TBI when I was 17, had it for 6 years. Car was at 210,000 miles and still ran great when I sold it to my brother and he ran it into the ground within months. Great learning car, got that thing running mid 14.7s with stock heads, cam, intake, and TBI (ran mid 16s stock) but was nothing compared to the LS1.

My first car was a 73 Trans Am. Ran the hell out of that car. Was about 6 different colors between the bondo, primer, and paint. Still love that car. I ended up with a lot of donor 2nd gens for it and even some I drove. 74 Formula. Then I got a 94 TA, 97 Formula, 98 TA, 99 TA and now I have 72 waiting on the wiring to come back so I can drop an LS1 in it. Just sold the 99 and bought an 05 vette. I will miss the 99 TA since I had it for 7 years, but the vette makes its all better.
