**** I wish, my first car was a 4cyl 95 Reg. Cab LS S-10 lol. Then a 97 S-10 Blazer, 90 GMC Sierra, 98 Ex. Cab S-10, 95 ZJ, and then finally my dream car my 98 SS. And I inherited a 02 GMC Sonoma a cpl months ago, I have a way with S-10's if you can't tell.

Looooong time coming here and I'm 23.

I'm 18 years old and my first car was my 98 formula. I work 2 jobs and everything is in my name...witch sucks for insurance. My dad always warned me about getting these kind of cars at my age but he was all for it since his first car was a 73 camaro and he had several firebirds and camaros when he was growing up. He had to pay for everything so he figured i should have to too. I mean i could drive his vette once and awhile but i wanted my own car to mod and have fun with. Also i respect my dad for making me pay for everything. I have a much greater respect for my car then a lot of my friends whose parents buy there cars for em.

My first car was a 1977 Trans Am with the Olds 403 and TH400, T-Tops, Power windows. the thing was a piece of crap but I loved it!! It needed a lot of work though and at 17, I just couldn't afford the restore. Ended up selling it shortly after I joined the Army so I could get something more reliable like an 86 Trans Am with T-tops, power everything, 305 (lo output...), and 700R4. Had it for a while before it met the rear bumper of a Surburban. many vehicles and 10 years later (I'm 27) I now own a 91 Jeep Wrangler and am looking to buy a WS6 M6 in a few months after I get back from Iraq.

Mine was a M5 V6 when I got it in 2005. I still have my baby, but she's a V6 no more Over 190K on my odometer (about 85k on the current motor), and she'll beat new camaros with only 1900 miles

The answer to your V6 woes: LSX swap!!! I highly recommend it Austin95

I had a 95 silver v6 camaro as my first car when I got my license at 17. The first day I took it out, I got a ticket. I then totalled it, by hitting black ice at night and having a telephone pole stop me. I miss that car, but soon enough I hope to get a z28.

Mine was my WS6, never crashed it knock on wood, I got my license at 16 and I'm 19 now almost 20. I've had 11 tickets but only one was for speeding and it was thrown out after going to driving school. They were all for exhaust, tint, tag covers, etc. And one operating an ATV on the highway.

Bought my 1989 Trans Am just before I turned 19. It wasn't technically the first car I owned but I don't count the Ranger I flopped because I never drove it.

Bought her with no motor and it went straight into an ls1 swap, don't regret a thing. However, once my dad drove it he caught the LSx bug and can't stand my car beating his truck.

Still trying to get the damn thing insured....

Dad gave me a 96 Trans am when i was 15. Needed work. him and i got it running. it wasnt very reliable, so i bought a 94 zr2 blazer, drove it for a while. Sold it and bought a 94 3000gt sl. Drove that for a few months. Sold that and put 7k down on a 06 cobalt ss back in the day. Put ottp stage 2 on that. bought a 95 gsx to build and it got gay and sold it. bought a 93 ranger for 300 sold it for 1200. Girlfriend and I were expecting so i sold that. Bought her a 98 grand prix GTP. and started working on the ls1 swap for the 96 ws6. (dad blew the engine at the track) Sold the gtp and bought a 2000 escalade. Bought a 04 SRT4 for a Dd. About to finish the ws6. ill be 21 in a month.

I bought a Z32 300zx twinturbo as my first sports car. It was fun but not very relaible. That car is the only reason why I know what I know about mechanical and electronic components on a car. As a matter of fact, it helped me choose a career towards electronics.

After some bolt-ons and being able to burn some c5's and ls1 f-bodies, I was content with my Z32. But I still use to look at the ls1 T/A'w due to the sleek design and price range. I cannot comment positive on the f-body interior.

My first car was a 92 Firebird V6, got it when i was 15, back in '97. I've had 4 Fbodies (3 thirdgens), and a ton of others.
I got out of the car scene several years ago, cause I had way more fun going out and partying n **** while driving beaters, than spending most of my $$$ on parts. I had way more fun in my old beat *** Taurus, than I ever did in my modded ls1-z.
Now im getting old, gotta family, so I'm done having fun. So now I'm trying to get back into modding cars, trying to get another LS car soon.

My first car was a black 1995 LT1 Z28 Auto. I was 17 and i loved that car. I was rear ended by a tool truck in 2004 and the car was a a total loss. I ended up buying an LS1 Trans AM which i still currently have, with the insurance money plus some cash on top. Now that im 25, the Trans AM chills in the garage and I have a 2009 Nissan Murano as my DD. Never had a speeding ticket in the Trans AM.

When I got my license my parents let me use there 92 tempo which had been in the family longer than me. I knew I had to get something better even though this tempo was pretty mint less than 40 miles on it lol. After saving up all my money i earned when I was 16 and 17, I bought a '97 WS6 right when I turned 18. My parents didn't really like the car at first considering the hp and they both drive beaters. Having a deadly car like that at high school was pretty fun everyday. I've had the car a little over a year now. The car hasn't been very reliable and loves to **** oil on the driveway from all different areas, but I wouldn't change buying an f-body as my first car. Even though I only get to drive it for half the year.

My T/A is my first car technically due to it being in my name. When I was in high school though I drove either dads CTS or his ranger (which he said was mine). However, I guess you could call my first car my 79 Corvette. Dad bought it for a father/son project when I was 12. Mom had cancer and was stuck in a hospital bed, so we sold out boat and bought the vette as something for him and me to work on so we both wouldnt take her illness so hard.
