My first car was a '78 Camaro Type LT. Black with red interior 305 with a turbo 350. My girfriend now wife LOVED that car. Went through three transmissions in 7 months. Sold it for an '87 IROC 305 5-spd. Tuned port. Black w/ red interior. Did that only because the '78 didn't have T-tops. Idiot! Ten years later just got a '98 Black Formula M6. Thank God GM didn't offer a red interior I don't think I could have done it. Two cars with them is enough.

The car that I drove around in HS when I was 16 wasn't an F-body, but it was a Pontiac... an '85 J2000 (Sunbird) 2dr hatchback I bought from my HS auto class for $25. It had the 1.8L I4 and an auto, it started out being pretty slow, but was in good shape. I found a website that actually sold performance parts for it, so I put in a larger cam, the larger 2.0 TB, full exhaust, and a small shot of N2O, lowered it, some wheels and drove the hell out of it up until I was T-boned at a 4-way stop by some lady doing 65mph.

Fast forward to now, I've bought and sold over 18 cars in the 9 yrs since then (there was a point in time I was driving a different car/truck every 6 months, sometimes 2 different ones lol), but I finally got my 2nd Pontiac, my '98 T/A. I plan on keeping this thing forever, provided it doesn't meet the same fate as my first Pontiac lol

i did........waaaaay!!!! back in '82 i got a 1970 white camaro. Not alot to remember about it..... had black interior, 283 small block w/ 4 barrel quadrajet that drove forever, keystone classics, funny shift handle (kinda like an upside down U) console, dual exhaust with glasspacks....lol!

283 was a beast back then, drove from Myrtle Beach back to charlotte, NC with NOOOO oil in the car and made it, engine survived long after that....only cassette tape i had in the car was the DOORS...never liked them after that>>LOL!! ofcourse then HEAVY METAL was IN!!! and i was a metal head from there after.

I loved that car.....I would burn a GOT DARN WHEEL every chance i got!!!!!

24 now when I was 15 I bought a 91 Camaro RS down in FL to bring up to WI. Stock 305 TBI but had a 4 inch cowl hood black and blacked out. Looked bad *** but wasn't really fast...

I got a 2000 Pewter Conv. SS when i was sixteen and it had 170k+. Kept it basically stock with a loudmouth cb and slp intake.
Sold it when I graduated and got my 98 SS with 57k for $6700. Cleaned it up and spent all my money on it.

i bought my firts car at age 16, it was a 1996 rs. sadly i crashed it after not even a year but it gave me an excuse to buy my ls1 z28 that i have now at age 17. im just glad i worked and saved all my money so i could!

my first car was a good while back when i was 16..i'm 24 now..my mom had a black 84 Trans Am ..i got a job at KFC and worked a full 2 months giving every check to her to buy the car..it took me 2 months to make 2k LOL..i make that in 2 weeks now...but she let me buy it from her...i drove it for a few months untill i had a leak in the radiator i was unaware of and it overheated and blew the engine...me and my dad put a 350 in it after that..but before we finished up the exhaust i came across a 89 mustang GT i had to have...bought it...and the Trans Am has been in my sisters garage ever since..needs ALOT of work to restore it now..i like that old car, but not enough to sell my procahrged SS and use the money to restore the car

My 1996 Trans Am was my first car. Bought it when I was 16 in 2002, bone stock with 45,000 miles on it. I worked my *** off at an ice cream shop to afford it. It takes a lot of hours at $5.50 plus tips to afford a $12k car!

All the ice cream I could eat for free was a bonus

Yep.. 85 Firebird, 2.8L V6 for my first car.. Had a couple cars after that then traded one of them in for the Camaro in Jan 2003.
