N2O = bad on high milage car?
I have read the post about N2O and I was wondering what the most commonly used setup is (dry, wet). I was looking at spending around $600 for the whole nine yards. Is that even feasible without blowing up your engine? I have a 2000 Z28 A4 with about 100k miles on it. Should I not even try to attempt putting a 75hp shot on?

firstly its N20 or nitrous.
secondly as long as you have the correct fuel stuff and safety equipment you should be fine.
as far as wet/dry goes check out the nitrous oxide forum and see whats best. its really a preference thing.

My buddy sprayed his 180K mile '00 Z28 with a 150 shot until it finally spun a rod bearing. I think he started spraying around 100K miles

I wouldn't spray personally on a high mileage car just because of the fact that nitrous kills rings. Rings are generally more worn on higher mileage engines JMO, However 100,000 miles on an LS1 isn't high at all but i wouldn't feel comfortable about doing it.
