On the other hand, I noticed you have the Eibach pro kit on your car. How do you like it, is there a noticeable difference in the looks department? I'm thinking about putting the pro kit on my 02 SS, but I want to make sure that the drop is relatively noticeable....

P.S. Sorry for the thread hi-jacking

Man, you don't need the Eibach pro kit. Just throw some ET Streets on some Bogarts on that baby and those wheel wells will get filled up nicely.

Common mistake is to lower ur ride by shortening the springs. This works well on back but up front it F*#@%$ up the allignment settings (camber, toe in/out); which GM spent years to perfect.
The proper way to do it is to get dropped front lower spindles and keep stock springs. More expensive but proper mod. This allows u to keep factory settings and achieve that cool lower ride look.

lowering the front with spindles is more expensive but works well without thrwing the front end out of line. however, the eibach prokit springs only drop about 1.2" inchs front and back and the ride looks F**Kin' awesome. they just settled and the scraps aren't that bad as compared to the sportlines which are a 1.5" drop.

the alignment issue is easily fixed with the prokit spring. the camber is adjustable and lines up straight. I love my springs and the ride quality is firm yet rewarding. (whatever that means!!!) I recommend the prokit setup, the ride is low enough but doesn't bottom out as with the sportlines. the lower stance has dramatically improved my cornering abilities. Can't wait to get my shock upgrade and suspension setup. these cars handle great at a lower stance and with a stiffer chassis and improved components, the ride is unmatched! I love my Z!!!!!!!

Cool deal! I just ordered the Eibach Pro Kit along with a BMR adjustable pan hard rod, BMR relocation brackets(bolt in), and re-valved Bilstein shocks(from Sam Strano Jr.). I won't be installing this setup for a few weeks, but it should be awesome! Eventually i will do SLP bolt on sub frame connectors and a BMR strut tower brace.

Dude, your gonna love them! Now, my problem is with which shock/strut brand I should go with. You mentioned the bilstein which are re-valved. how does that improve ride quality? Also, have you heard of the FX-5 Kit from RKSports? It's suppose to come with an air compressor and be fully adjustable at each shock.
Also, i see you have BMR products which is what im leaning towards, do you have any extreme series products and would you recommend them?
Oh, make sure your mechanic does the camber alignment correctly. the first guy, which isn't my usually mech. didn't even set it and chargd me! (Miami F**krz! suck!!!) so I took da Z to my usual mech. and had i one right. the camber aligment plate should have enough settings to line right at 0'. on mine it went all the way to the last setting! LaterZ!!!!
