Default water damage, possible hydro lock HELP!

About 2 weeks ago in Shreveport it stormed really bad while my car was in a parking lot and we got about 8 inches in one day. After work, while driving the car home, it began misfiring and service light was blinking. I turned it off and then it ran fine for 2 weeks. Now it is having random misfires and passenger side 4 cyclinders are not firing. I thought it may be mass air flow sensor at first, so replaced it. still runs the same.

What could cause my 4 passenger side cylinders to not be firing. Could the ECU have gotten wet enough to short out?

The O2 sensors could have gotten wet, pretty common.

If it was hydrolocked, it would not be running, period.

Check the connector for the coil pack harness on the passenger side for water intrusion. This is a common problem, especially since it sits right below the cowl seal which usually leaks.

hey guys thanks alot. I changed my front bank 2 o2 sensor which was out, and all spark plugs. All 8 were fouled. I also bought a new Mass since mine was throwing the code constantly.

It runs great again. No codes thrown

I have pacesetter LT's, can they burn up the front o2 sensors?

Not hydrolocked, that happened to me recently, but my 7 and 8 rods shot out the block.
