Default Ordering Handheld

PCM tunning question but still noobish. I was wondering if when you bought a handheld tunner such as a diablo predator can you list the mods that you have and they send it to you pre tunned to your specific application? I have only have lid, K&N and cat back as of now. Secondly who would be the best sponsor if not diablo themself to buy an accuratly programed handheld for me?

The Predator comes with a "Performance" tune that you can load in to your car or you can contact Diablosport with a list of your current mods and they will make a custom tune for you, for a fee. With the mods you have listed at this point the tune that comes with the handheld will be fine. Several sponsors sell the Predator or as you stated you can get it directly from Diablosport.

Yup what he said. find a used one here for $100+. If you like it keep it if you dont sell it to someone else. I recommended a predator tuner

Diablosport predator is what I have. You can adjust timing, shift points, dial in your long term fuel trims, turn off TM if you have an A4 and monitor your KR. There is alot more but I'm not going to list everything..... can't type that fast.

If you're going the handheld route, this might help you make a decision. If you've got the money and a reputable local shop that can tune, you may get more gain having it tuned professionally. But for the mods you have now, a pro tune may be a little extreme.

If your gonna get a used Diablo make sure it is unlocked from the previous VIN. It will cost an extra $100 to have it unlocked by Diablosport.

I went with a mail order from madz28. The tune seems to work perfect. I originally payed $230 but every update I have had is only $50. I think that is the best way to go IMO.
