Just got SLP lid, missing AIR hose connector
Just got an SLP lid for my 2001 WS6, but it did not come with the AIR hose elbow and connector to link up with the air hose that connected to the stock lid. While I sort out getting one online, I've been contemplating fabricating my own. I don't really want to go the route of connecting a breather filter to it and zip-tying it, I'd rather have it look neat and professional. Does anyone have measurements/part list of things I would need to make my own SLP AIR hose connector? Also, the lid has a hairline crack in it near the neck, is this something I should worry about?

I'd send it back to where you got it and get your money back. Or at least get the proper hose and connectors from them. I got mine from ws6store with everything you mentioned for $90 and it was brand new.

I would just cut the hose by the AIR motor and stick a breathfilter there for it. Then you engine bay would have 1 less stupid hose. Thats what I did until I deleted AIR.

I doubt a small crack would affect much... it would just irritate me more than anything
The MTI carbon fiber lid I bought did not come with a connector for the hose either. I just went down to vato zone and bought a red breather filter for the end of it, fits right up, works fine. 6-7$ for an easy fix and you can cut down that ugly hose while your at it
