Default How much are these heads and engine worth..........?

I took my car to pennsoil to get an oil change, and 2500 miles later completely ran out of oil. We found metal shavings on the end of the dipstick.

Anyway, I have a buddy interested in buying the engine and rebuilding it, but I don't have a clue how much it's worth. Everything on the top end seems fine.

I have a couple people interested in my ls6 heads as well. they have about 5,000 miles on them.

Anyone have any idea how much these are worth? thanks

thanks for the reply. technically there was about a quart left. all we can figure is that they never put enough oil in when I got it changed. there was no oil leak anywhere and i can't see burning up 4 or 5 quarts in 2500 miles.

the oil low light didn't come on; just the check engine light, which comes on because of a bad o2 sensor. after the shop tore my top end apart and seen there was nothing broken and put it back together, they noticed the low oil light came on.
i don't know what to think
