Default BMR Tunnell Brace

On my last car I had a BMR DS loop. I dont seem to see them around anymore but I saw them make a DS tunnell Brace. I want to make this car as rigid as possible for my DD (I am used to import style chasis rigidity) so I have a BMR SFC and STB on order. I am just wondering if the BMR Tunnell Brace is worth a damn or not.

My search function started working again!!

I found that a few people didnt like it and had ground clearance issues. So no dice here for now. Unless someone has another opinion?

Though it is clearly stronger than the OEM part, my biggest problem with it is clearance as well. I have to significantly slow down over speed bumps or certain inclines. Your call.

Someone pointed out that the metal it was screwing into wasnt that strong so really how much rigidity could it put out?

It's strong enough to hold the torque arm when people relocate it there...so it can handle a driveshaft loop

It's right there, also. Everyone sells them, what do you mean you haven't seen them around lately? I've got one on my car and no issues.

I meant that in this area I used to see them on every car, not people are running different brands. I didnt know if that was because of rigidity or fit or what. I never had a problem with mine, but I was curious.

Ah, ok. Yeah, no problems here. And you need one for the track is you're running in the 13s or lower typically.
