Default what cam should i go with?

2001 ss stock motor. what would be a good all around cam with prc 5.3 heads milled at 59cc? kinda lookin for a cam that has decent power under the curve.

tsp ms3 or pm Patrick G. and get him to grind a cam that wouldn't require you to flycut for clearance.

I had the stage 2 heads 59cc's and ran the SpeedINC 224/224 .581/.581 112 cam and loved it. I've moved up since then but it made great power.

I would also think the ms3 would have clearance issues and Patrick G is a great guy to talk to about a cam. PM him and tell him what you want/ plans/ etc and he'll hook you up. He spec'd out my custom cam.

pretty tough to beat a 224/224 cams under the curve.. since your running TSP 5.3 heads i would give tsp a call on which cam would be best.

also check out the dyno section to see what combo's other guys are running, stay away from the MS-series cam's as they are mountain cam's......they make power WAAAAAAAAAY up in the power range and loose alot down low....

Not if you get the heads from TSP. They sink the valves a little to help with clearance
