Default What motor should I run?

I have my 67' SS Nova and am looking for either LS1 or LS2 engine and trans. Stock pull out is fine. What are the pro-and cons to this set-up? Oil Pan, motor mounts, cross member, etc. Can I make this engine a carburated or should I leave it FI. Is it hard to set-up all the FI stuff?

Thx

was thinking of doing the same with a 62-73 nova..
with the help of a uncle that knows how to do engine swaps....
you can buy a wire harness and engine mounts for the your car to be converted to an lsx and the engine will fit right in and run with only a few wires.
but then adding all the lil things like drive shaft, rearend, fuel system wont be suprise if its over 10,000
wire harness includes everythign and computer to run fuel injection

ls2, it can withstand more abuse and has more cubes along with a better platform to build on. But you cant even come close to going wrong with either one espically the ls1.

So if I run FI I should get the ECM, wiring harness, etc from the LS1/LS2? What fuel pump should I run? Will after market work? I am going to use the stock HP from the motor and MAYBE upgrade later...

Thx for the help guys.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-swaps-28/

You'll probably find more information if you post in that section. Good luck on the build, it should be a beast
