Default Fuel pump Q's?

Hi peeps,
I must replace my fuel pump,assy is all right,the motor is not working anymore.
What should I do,replace only the motor or full assembly,aftermarket,performance or OEM?

Plans to keep it stock for the moment,but the tank is out right now,should I get a performance pump now,so when the time comes to MOD the engine it's already their...

Please help

get the racetronix kit with the wire harness kit got mine from lonnies performance for 225....and it works great

Thanks LS184,for the 98 F-body models it's a little more expensive.
Do you still use stock injectors with the Racetronix kit?

ya its a little more cause of the different set-up the 98 has, but yes u can keep ur stock injectors

OK,I'v got my mind set on the Racetronix pump,but before getting the Racetronix,has anyone used to TRE Performance fuel pump?And is the Walbro unit that noisy?

try askin Nasty N8 (Nate form Nasty Performance),,he's quite knowledgable in that area, and is a sponser on here.

Just a heads up my tre performance 255 pump **** the bed several months ago, it would be slow to build pressure after heavy use. The pump I had did this several weeks after I had installed it. I toubleshooted the rest of my fuel setup till I finally gave in and replaced with a walbro unit. In my case the pressure build was signifigantly faster and I have had no problems since. Just my experience though I have heard of people not having problems. Good Luck.

I did bought the TRE pump and so far so good.
