Default Headlight Question???

My headlights still go up and down, and the lights all still work but, everytime I put my headlights down it makes a very loud grinding vibrating noise. Is it the motor?

Anyone??? 18 views and no further than I was before. I really don't want to spend $100 on the driverside motor if its just the $20 gear. Thanks in advance.

It's the motor. You can take it apart and flip the nylon gear over and buy some time cause it only uses half or get a brass gear and be done with it. A dude named bfranker.badz28.com sells the gear and has a good how to writeup. If you can't find it pm me.

You dont have to take the motor out, just get the arm off and spin it 180degrees but make sure thats it so it doesnt catch the broken gears.
