big problem! temp sending unit

big problem! temp sending unit so as i was puttin on me slp headers i broke the temp sending unit its going to be a week before advanced autozone or o reilly can get one .... the time i turn my car on maybe 5 seconds the fans turn on i figured my temp gauge wouldnt work but would my fans coming on at start up have anything to do with it ....is it safe to drive the car every day i guess is what im asking

I think I paid 14 bucks for another one for mine new motor. **** all the huge corporate parts stores. Go find a local auto parts place and ask them they will prolly have one.

well im in sav ....and i called everybody man its ridiculous so now i have to wait till next week to get it so it sucks but now i can drive one of my moms cars ha ha 35mpg i dont care i gues i can go ahead and save up for a dyno tune while i wait

lol wtf all the car is going to do is think that it's super cold (i think it goes to -32*) and just dump extra fuel
my friend drove and raced his car with his sensor not plugged in for MONTHS (and i know it was months becuase we had installed headers and the headers were already getting nasty looking)
you'll be fine driving it, my friend didnt even notice till i opened his hood to do a quick check up on all his junk

no MAF no front 02's no rear 02's no EGR and no AIR either
