Question ls1 in a s10 what do i need???

what all do i need to put a ls1 in a s10?????

you need an LS1 motor and a 4l60e/t56 tranny... and an S10.

Transdapt has mounts. A buddy did one not too long ago and we ordered a bunch of parts through Oreilly's Auto Parts(when I was employed there). There should be many threads on here that can help with any problems.

haha nice i was planning on saying that when i saw the title

search around alot of good write ups all over the web, and companys that spealize in swap parts. biggest issue you will run into compared to a sbc swap is clearance for the oil pan. also you can use a th350/700r4 if you want with the ls1. i believe it lines up fine you just dont use 2 of the bolts

Yeah i think there are about 20 write -ups all over about this .......

post up some pics as your working on this. I know a few like myself would be interested in seeing the progress

i just picked up a 87 s-10 with a ls1/t56..was hit in front end i bought it for the motor/trans..looks like it fit in there pretty easy though..bet it was fun to drive..
