You do know the the turbo 6 in a gn can make up to 2000hp right but ill leave it up to you to wonder what's under the hood

That's a laugh. Not stock block. You need a Stage block for that and one off Champion heads for that. Talk to Cal Hartline about it.

You need a good boost controller and a trans brake to make a turbo car consistent on the street.

Trust me I owned a GN and an 87 T-Type, one with a 9 sec motor.

Plus, GN motors are like kids with A.D.D. everytime you turn around they need attetion.

Who started patting?????? Westbank or Eastbank?????? I believe its local(i could be wrong). When i first saw/heard someone get patted on i thought: why is he doing that?
The first person i saw on video(may not be the inventor) do it was KH504 racing a camaro an he patted in the middle of the race! After that every video/race someone won i heard the famous gas tap called patting!

PATTING(PA-TING)- noun; action used to describe the hitting of the gas(noise heard in multiple videos) to farther disrespect your opponent in a street race after beating them (used by racers after kicking someones *** in a street race), a.k.a the sound that will send someone back to the lab with there car

First time I heard ****** pattin' was like in 07' or sumn. I was watchin V.L. & Que& Taz & nem race eachother with lik some 13sec cars they had. I thought all dem boys had a fucked up third gear or sumn, till I heard em come back dappin ****** off talkin bout "patted on dat lil boy son" .

But see now, dat pattin ****, dat **** there dead. ****** tryna play dat Gap band on a ***** nowa days.
Some people still pat if its too close to gap you but it be all after the 1/4 & ****. **** otta here wit dat ol late *** pattin.

Patting goes way back before any of us been racing. I remember back in the 90's of racing in front of Folgers plant and going out to Hwy 90 and seeing guys patting on each other. Later on in the early 2000's, seeing Governor (R.I.P.) racing Bassboat and them patting on each other.

It's not a westbank or eastbank thing. Its just a competitive racing thing. I've been a GM guy as far as I can remember working on my dad's 1966 Nova and my uncle's 69 Chevelle and 68 pickup truck. Most of the guys who raced with me kinda had an unwritten rule. You race a chevy you make it fair and just beat him, you race a Ford, give him everthing you got no matter if you run 9's and he runs 13's and pat on him the whole way. Now that has kinda changed since I've gotten older. I really can't stand Fords, but I can respect a fast Ford. So I probably wouldn't pat on one but who knows, sometimes you just get caught up in the moment!
