yeah it seems a bit fast but the C6s are super quick stock. and lets not even talk about the Z06 with some sticky tires....

I drove mine to Panama City Fl. when it was new and got 29.4 going about 75mph except for the stretch between Opelousas and Alexandria. I ran it up to 155 then slowed to 140 and kept it there about 10-15 miles. The wife loved that.

 

My LT1 with no tune up running 80 in sixth from Shreveport to Beaumont Texas got a average of about 24mpg. It might have been better if i had cruise and my clear coat wasn't making a parachute for me to push. Gotta love GM clear coat!!!

 

Cruise set on 75.

Okay guys, well I get off work at 3 today. I gotta run home and change, shoot a spot on my fender with some degreaser (thanks Service Tire), and then run her through the Boomerang Carwash. Soooooo figure about 4:30ish for me. Also, not very clear on the exact meeting spot on Clyde Fant, so may I suggest the Stoner boat launch? 'Twas the spot for our last photoshoot. the parking lot we are talking about is just past stoner in the middle of Clyde fant before you get to the sharp S curve. It dont really matter which one we go to, im sure some of the cars are loud enough that we will know where the others are at. lol

Well it was nice meeting you guys today. We had a better turnout than i thought we would, maybe more next time.

If we are going to try another roundup we need to try to figure out a way to get the most people there. I know people work later than others and thats cool but we need a day and time that the majority of us can meet at a set time and the others just swarm in so so to speak. I would say this Sunday and start showing up at 12:00 (<~~~just a starting point). Post you ideas and we can try to agree on something that works for most of us.

lol im sure we all know how that goes. We had 9 people show on the first go around and im shooting for around 18 on the next.

 

We need to make signs for the next round up and put one under the wiper arm on every F-Body wee see. That should pull a good size crowd but some might want to fight for people touching there car but im down for that too. Lmao
