shreveport/bossier hang out!

Love ya honey, but my turn is coming!
I was honored to lead the pack - thanks for trusting me to get ya'll there (even if it was by putting me up front so no one would think the ***** mobile was part of the convoy).
I hated to leave because I was ready to get some great pics for ya'll, but duty called. Glad I did leave because it was my biggest party ever! $2,200 - which means $1000 IN MY POCKET and both toy haulers paid up for another month!

I've got about 8 sets of those myself. Don't think she knows thats a short cut lol. I think they may have gotten a 1/2 inch anyway do to the steering wheel shake I was getting after the launch 5 1/2 more to go haha. I would like to join ya'll tuesday, but I have to work. If ya'll planned it on wednesday or thursday I'd be able to. Next time though. In a couple of weeks I'm planning on heading up to Twin City Dragway if anyone would be interested in joining me? Like I need to ask anyone on here if they wanna go to the dragstrip

You don't have to race. We could always use someone to take video/pics. It's usually a good convoy going. As far as being stock, we all start somewhere. I understand if it's your DD and you don't wanna risk any damage. These cars are just toys to most of us and we have our primary vehicles so it doesn't matter if we tear something up.

Twin Cities was pretty packed yesterday. Several low eleven second f bodies and vettes were hanging around. I got in two good passes and a Cobra scattered and oiled the whole track so I left. I couldn't get the car to hook at the line but still got a couple of 11.3s at 120. When you guys head over there, I'll fall in line when you pass Minden.

Some of ya'll need to realize that most all tracks during the winter will scrap the launch pad and resurface it for the next season of racing. Just about everyone of your tracks will not start hooking good until several weeks of hard racing, the more cars that show up and do burnouts the faster the launch pad will start getting around to sticking the way you want it.
Right now all your doing is community service to your tracks with your high dollar tires.....sucks don't it! Early in the season of racing i done better by going on saturday brackets and following the big tire'd cars.

Myself and Cainsw pull ours and they're both street cars so if someone breaks all we'd have to do is swap tires so we wouldn't have to wear out our expensive drag tires drivin home. If your worried about gettin it home after breaking something don't be. We got you and anyone else covered as far as gettin it back home.

No, its not the track. I think I've got to adjust my pinion angle and get a little more aggressive on my tire pressure changes. I was running at about 19 pounds and my angle is set at -2. Its not a lot of spin, but enough to keep my 60 foot above 1.6 when the car used to put up 1.4x consistently. Oh well, if it ran perfect every time what would I work on?

Clint mine bites the best at 14psi, so good it bogs. I know you wanna get away with as much as you can. I start at 18 and work my way down til it bites. I usually end up with 14-15psi though so I just keep it there.
I got room in my truck for extra tires, parts, etc, etc.........we usually designate a place and time to meet up, but your on the way to TCD so I could swing through on the way and chunk'em in the back and roll.

Scott, what does your car like for air psi? Just curious. I got the DR's on there now.
Yea, I swapped exhaust and put the PS pump back on mine today. I'll be going to get it inspected probably tomorrow. We don't have a nearby track so I have to get mine back drivable. Like Josh said, we got you covered if you break and we have plenty of room to haul extra parts and things.
