Chad, if you want to waist your gas on this guy im on the forum with him and can set it up if ya want.
Just to clear some confusion, that camaro wasnt bone stock. Im not here to run my mouth about anyone, but I cant stand it when a car is said to be bone stock and its not. Yes, the motor might not be touched, but that doesnt mean stock. You get the point.....

Ive said what I needed to say LOL but there are very few people, and I mean few, that I would actually believe when they told me what was done to their car at the time of a street race.

Ok Chris we can go buy your word. Lets just say he had the nitrous on the car and sprayed during that race. Keep in mind we are comparing a (STOCK LS1) with 100 shot pushing maybe 370rwhp and a S2000 putting down 701 rwhp. Either way you look at it the S2K clearly won but should he have won his race (roll at 60) with a turboed car against a stock A4 LS1 camaro on 100 shot by a lot more than 3 1/2 to 4 lengths?

Possibly. Depends on how the race went. I only watched the video once and it was not HDTV clear by any means LOL

Again, Im not here to argue about a race. I just wanted to clear the smoke about a car not being stock.

Also, a long time ago when I was cam only making 401 rwhp, my brother with a completely stock LS1 (not even an aftermarket air intake) with a 100 shot blew my ******* doors off like I was driving a damn KIA....so 370 rwhp is probably a low guess.

It does seem better with the extra feature. I'll be comparing. MSD just doesn't have anything listed about really and summit just gives you the basics on it. If it is just a basic unit then I'll go with the one from LPE. Price for price, LPE wins hands down.

Welcome to the world of 6 speeds. You're gonna learn alot about these M6's this year if you keep watching us add stuff and going to the track with us. You already learned from your last rear what they do to stock ****. Now that you know that, you can focus on what they are capable of. Plus, since your just starting on yours you'll be able to see what works and what doesn't, which will help you out on future purchases and save you a heck of alot of money, time, and headaches.

BTW, I don't know how many of you met Terry(my friend that showed up in monroe), but we're going to San Antonio to pic up his 99 T/A M6 monday. So we'll have another addition to the group next week and more work for me lol, but I'll teach him as we go.

I agree. There is people that think they can put a lid, exhaust, filter, converter, gears, etc on their car and call it stock.... My opinion of a stock car is STOCK! Bone *** stock. NO MODS. I dont know what Darell or anyone else around here has on their car and dont really care. His car must run pretty good since he has outran some pretty fast cars. I dont think anyone on here is a complete idiot. We all know what a car runs stock, and with some small mods. There is people all the time (including me) that say our car is stock. If someone is gullable enouph to believe it then my hats off to them. There is alot of cars around here with some small mods dont to them, including nitrous. The way I see it, we all do this for fun. Untill there is a rule book on street racing, there will still be STOCK cars prowling around our streets.

I agree

I do it for fun, but there are some that take it so serious that it isnt fun. I refuse to race these people.

I totally agree. Horsepower is nothing without torque.
Besides, A 4cyl making that claim is BS, big deal about intercoolers or whatever he had.
He should of started with a V8.

With enough money and a shop to do the right work its not BS. Jesus I dont understand why some people cant respect a well built car. I love the LSx platform and wouldnt have it any other way, but I respect a well built car. You think they just magically changed the dyno to make it read some crazy high number? With 27 psi of boost that number is very obtainable.

Like 440ish I think, but it's high up in the rpm band. His tq comes in where ours is starting to fall.

I agree. It's a stout car for sure. He supposed to be getting a rear and better half shafts for it. So it should show the potential that it should have off the line and finish the 1/4 with some badass times.
