^^^that one is out of a truck which requires shift linkage and tailshaft change and it doesn't work. it would be good to turn in for a core though.

The actual tailshaft itself is the same. All you would have to do is put your tail housing with the tourque arm mount on there, and the shifter linnkage thing is not that big off a deal either. Hell the trans that is in my car now come from behind a '97 V6 1/2 ton truck. That's why I know it will work.

he just got a bunch of "make it down the track more then 8 passes parts" for it.
but yea, it really is not that fast at all, its just a RICED out 4 cylinder that has 3 fuel pumps, 1600cc injectors, twin disc, DSS axles, and a LSD inside a fresh tranny. but im sure he will never hang with any of these V8 beasts.

 

The best he has got it to run is an 11.80. Which don't get me wrong that is very respectable, but it is NOT consistent. From a roll would probably run pretty well.

Not ragging on the car, just saying fast imports very seldom make more than 4-5 passes without popping something. I basically lived at RR when it was open so I'm just going off of what I've seen over the past 20yrs of racing. I think it's cool to get an import to run like that just saying that when they get fast they break. Kinda like a stock 10 bolt in a f car

 

11.8's it is a hell of a sleeper for sure!

 

Yep, not to shabby! Coarse that was with a couple of guys that knew the track and helping him out on the starting line.
