Jesus...................
On a lighter note, has everyone who is going to the track next month posted in that thread? It would be nice to see who all is coming. You know like a head count.
Edit: I would also like to add that depending on how things go, I see it highly unlikely that I will be racing my car that night Not that Im scared or anything it just doesnt look like its gonna be ready in time.

Well i tore it down to a empty block. It was time for a rebuild anyway. Two rod bearing were shot and the rest were close behind. Nothing is hurt but the crank does need to be polished. Its a good thing this happened when it did before the rods needed to be resized and the mains needed a line hone done. Number 3 main bearing was needing to be changed also. Its a good thing i pulled it down to check everything out. Had a few friends tell me to just put new head gaskets on it and have the head fixed and throw it back together. Last time i done head gaskets and didnt pay any attention to the bottom end it lasted 3 days and started knocking from a spun main and rod bearing. Lesson well learned id say lol. Im not sure what im going to do as far as rebuilding just yet but im looking into a few builds that are interesting.

Im in the same boat Steve. There are so many options when building a motor and its hard to pick what you want to go with. Im looking/talking to a few guys and there build are nice but not to extreme. They are running really good numbers and they are still efi street car. Seems one guy has almost the same setup as me only with a diff cam and some head work and he runs a second faster than my car. Im sure alot of it is in his tune but im still looking.

Well hell if I woulda checked this sooner, we coulda done that. I sware I saw you out on stateline last night. Not sure though. Looked like your car to a T. I'm in my truck because of the weather though. The car doesn't leave the garage if it looks like its gonna rain. I'm up here quite a bit though, so maybe we can all setup a Hooter's meet when the weather gets better
