My carbed LS killed a new set of plugs and wouldn't start. Swapped em out and it busted right off. So that is a possibility.

ngk tr55 always worked out good for me

also smell the oil, if the oil smells of gas, change it. Let the oil drain for a while before refilling.

Anybody got any tips on adjusting a panhard rod? I was getting differences in measurement bc of the drivers side sitting a little higher then the passenger. I did it by eye and it looks pretty good but I would like to confirm it with a solid measurement. Thoughts, suggestions?

sight. if you have a big tire and dont want them rubbing just throw some kids in the back seat and take off to test if they will rub or not.

You have to make sure your car is setting completely loaded on the rear springs. Jack stands under the rear end, and front wheels on some ramps.

I took my wheels off and hung a 1/2" nut from a string on each side of the car (make sure the strings are hanging from the same points of the car on each side), then measure from the flat of the axle to the string.

That's how I did mine. Course with the tires I run, my rearend had to be on the gnat's *** center so I wouldn't get any rub.

+1
I have set up sum panhard rods on 05-06 mustangs using the same method. If your tires fit inside the fenders you don't have to pull the wheels. You can split the differnce between the tires.

I did the same as coleman except i left mine sittin on the tires in the garage. Got it dead on. Basically the string and nut is just a poor mans plumbob. Gets the job done though.

Anyone know someone building a v8 s10? I have a brand new set of headman headers, trans dapt mounts, and and B&M mega shifter for sale. Everything is brand new and in boxes. I gave $433 from jegs and will sell everything for $400. If they dont sell quick im just going to send them back to jegs. If everything sells together you will get the receipt as well.

They are a 3 inch with an H pipe running through two 18 inch dynomax bullets. All 3 inch and all mandrel bent including the turndowns spouts themselves. Prolly looking to get somewhere in the neighborhood of $125.

Looks exactly like this, but with an H-Pipe instead of the X.

This is a picture of another exhaust I built. Its a copy of mine except its an X pipe and mine has an H in it. But other then that they are identical. See how the mufflers tuck up under the driveshaft.? Modified torque arm included in the sale.
