i talked to the owners of the track they said the staff still did not feel it was safe enough. i didnt walk down track to see what was up but i didnt notice anything out of the ordinary when i was making my passes

The guy i asked said that there was water coming through the cracks in the track on the other end from all the rain in the last week, he said they tried to blow it off but it kept seeping through. he was the small guy on the 4-wheeler.

Look nobody is trying to be an *******...sumone on the video said **** the 7000lbs truck so i was just making the comment that my "7000"lbs truck just squeezed off a 8.70 @ 84mph on 22" wheels, with the 17 inchers wrapped in M/T's it runs 12.90's all night long in the 1/4. To me that is kinda of impressive but if its not to you then ok...carry on!

My bad man, it's just that when you come on here and every post you make you're calling someone slow, or in this case slower than a truck that ran a 8.XX 1/8th, it kind of makes you sound like an *******. I was there, and I didn't see a single car make a run slower than that truck unless they had a bad launch and coasted down the track.
1 pass in the 1/8. it wasn't a bad start because the car wouldn't even break the tires loose, and I'm like what are people doing, that's a 20 sec. 1/4 or something, if your 1/4 time is faster than your 0 to 60 its time to quit.and they were hot lapin. I guess the tree is intoxicating.

I swear that pic in your sig is at Centerville right? I used to go up there quiet a bit and run the dragster, also used to date a girl from around the area

Did you move close to Shreveport or something? You should come up to Prescott sometime and run with us. It's only 1,000ft like Centerville, but it's a GOOD hooking track.
ThunderRoad is a little closer for me, but I really don't want to go bracket racing down there until the track gets a little less green. I'm sure if people keep showing up it will start hooking like it used to real soon. It's just that people go one night and expect it to magically start hooking it just needs some time.
It's really the Test N Tune guys that can start laying down the rubber so us bracket guys can come play on Saturdays
. Don't get me wrong I like playing with the nitrous on Friday nights too

yea the pic is from cville, i really hope to get to prescott sometime. so i can get into the 6.x range in the 1/8th. i know if i can solidify a 6x pass in the 1/8th i will have that 10 sec pass. And i am currently located in ruston so gilliam is a pretty good hike especially since i have to drive my car out and swap slicks etc...
i hope the track gets better at trr i really dont know what to expect but i am hoping to be in the 1.4x range next time i am out at the track
