My motor isnt going anywhere. Im sure ill be keeping the cam and stuff now. Just wanted the money to put elsewhere in the truck but i no longer need the cash so im sure im keeping it all. Only posted to hope for a quick sale but it didnt happen and im about done so motor work is next.

Camaro Bradl will be here today. He's driving from Virginia where he flew to pick up the vette. Spent the night in Atlanta last night. Should be here around dinner time.
I don't know if some of you met him, but he's a nice guy. Been stationed in Germany, then sent tdy to Afganistan. He's in the states for 22 days. Bought an 08 corvette to take back to Germany with him.
He's gonna spend a couple days with me, then go see his parents in TX.
Tomorrow I'm going to take him to Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW). Wanna come? If the weather cooperates, let's all bring our cars and park them together on top of the parking garage at the boardwalk.

Well the s10 is running. Its not LS powered but i got tired of seeing it sit so i dropped a vortec 350/th350 in last week just to get it out on the road until i finish the 6.0. Trying to get the supercharger on the 350 this week and get some shakedown passes this weekend.

 

How do you tune on the older vortec motors?

 

Anyone got a 4l80 converter they want to get rid of? Mine failed big time over the weekend and yank is telling me ten days to get one ready... wtf?

 

Steve- a flat head and 9/16 is all thats needed to tune the 750 on top of it. Not real sure when keeping the fuel injection.

If your just looking for something to get it going I have a stock 80 converter that im not going to use. Its out of a 02 2500HD truck. Had someone wanting it but havent gotten back with me.
