The reason it breaks is because the front pinion support has smaller berings in it and this lets it flex and the rear section of the case where the small pinion bearing is can't take it.
All you need to do to make a stock case hold up is buy a Daytona style billet pinion support. Lol, I have spent lots of $$$ on this. The case itself isn't the issue. The Nodular cases have daytona style supports, swap it out for a stock support and you will probably break a nodular case too. Been there done that

F-Body rear seat tunnel mount for nitrous bottle $50
Spohn chromoly 1000rwhp driveshaft $250 has maybe 10 miles on it
Got some personal stuff going on and need to get rid of it to take care of the other things going on. I'll drive to shreveport for the bottle warmer and drivshaft.

Yea, Just wish it wouldnt have cost me $1500 to fix a fuel filter....
I'm waiting on speed inc. to overnight me a new filter and I'll be ready to put some miles on it. I wish I could find a supercharged convertible vette running around town. Id like to bust his ***! (yea Brunker I'm talking about you!) heard you had the fastest 6 speed car around. Lets find out......

Is it just me or does it take everyone forever to sign in? Anyway thats not why im posting. Im looking for a 5.3, ls1, 6.0 ect to put in the 04 silverado i picked up yesterday. Just looking for something stock and im willing to rebuild if its not trash. Gave $200 for the reg cab short bed so im pretty far ahead already. Let me know what you have or what you come across. Selling my camaro to put this truck together.

I've got a rear set of Weld Prostars 5 3/4 bolt pattern and 6.5"BS. The tires are just some regular Hankooks 275/60/15's 28" still have 90-95% tread left.
Wheels look good also, they will be cleaned before shipped since they've been sitting in the shop for a couple months.
I'll have pictures up later today.
Price is $300 for both wheels and tires PLUS shipping
If your close enough I may be able to meet somewhere.
