yeah 2 years ago it take good cleaning and a ton of light coat to get to stick good. Also has sheet metal valve cover powdercoated black i got for free in a trade for something else i got for free lol . For the race car stuff all i need is a heater. I will still put 10-15k miles a year on it and take on road trips! love my 28mpg lol

Well the nitrous set up is almost complete! need plugs and im watching a bottle opener on ebay got the hsw interface and a msd digital window switch today so the parts list is as follows

Hey guys have any of yall changed your stock gears out? and also got the stock disc brake setup on the rear? Im building a s10 project with a little v6 and trying to get something better going with it in the breaking department and gears.

LOL..........new kid (no pun intended) already callin out folks . Alot of us have fast cars that we drive on the street, but are also capable of running the numbers at the track as well. Also, there are guys that I know and many others on here know that DD 9 and 10sec cars. Just letting you know ahead of time. OUTONYOU will be a good test for you
I don't think any of us have stock gears in our cars and we all still run the stock brake setup.

I need a set of the stock gear setup for my project.... I also got to go junkyard hoping for a rear disc brake setup off a blazer or camaro.

Goat, I was up at the Mansfield road u pull it a couple of months ago and there was a 4x4 s10 blazer up there. Don't remember if the brakes were disc or not but alot of those come with 3.73's and posi's. It's a white one sitting in the good parts section. They actually had several. The 4 bangers usually come with 4.10's, but alot of the newer ones it depends. You'll have to look on the door if it's still there at the RPO code to see for sure. If you can find a new enough truck they should have disc brakes on them. That would be the easiest swap. I wouldn't suggest using used gears simply because you have to get them just right or they will whine. May whine anyways. What small v6 you running? I'm guessing the 2.8? Thats a fun little motor coupled with a 4.10 gear, M5, and some bolt ons.

 

Oh yeah I have heard of the 2.8 V6. Its an 80s motor made by Turd Inc. right? No, no, its made by the SlowAsFuck company right? I saw one driving the other day down AlwaysLoses Blvd. Yeah yeah thats the one, some old white guy with a sweet blonde mullet rules the trailer park with his 2.8 6er.

 

I do have the title but it needs a double transferee. The car has no interior in it other that the dash. Its just a body thats pretty damn solid. It had a little rust damage in the floor but someone fiberglassed it up. The body is really straight but has a few small bubbles popping up around the bottom of the car. I dont think its bad but more less bad body work when it was primed. Im asking $700 like it sits.
