That's a pretty amusing craigslist ad, in fact,it looks like the identical twin to my friend's car he recently sold. Some guy bought my friend's car for 4500 I think (way overpaid, the thing had issues). Two or 3 days later it was posted for $6400 not mentioning that it needed wheel bearings badly, wrong gear ratio, was not chipped correctly as stated. I laughed my *** off and posted an RE ad calling him out as somebody who had just test driven it before him, which was the truth. I think he was in Haughton, and I even saw it in the background on this thread of someone on here who had just bought a 77 or so trans am.
Actually, I just re-read the ad, this 10K LT1 has almost the same miles too, I wonder if people keep buying this thing, realizing it needs work, so they each keep trying to profit off their mistake.......

GTO is also missing the radiator support piece. I bet that car had nitrous on it. (I've installed it there before.)
I also notice the photographer strategically does not show the back left of the car. I bet they didn't fill in the bumper cut out.
If I needed a car, I'd still consider it though.

For anyone eligible for USAA's banking, I highly recommend it. I just test drove a car yesterday, called USAA, finalized a loan, faxed them a paper they needed, and they said the check for the private seller would be here by Tuesday. I just got a knock on my door from FedEx, and what is it? My check, not even 22 hours later. If it wasn't for him having a lien on it and the bank holding the title, I could be driving my car now a few more days before I depart.
Car is an 05 GTO with Kooks stainless headers, T56, Monster Stage 2 clutch, 3 stainless exhaust systems (flowmaster sweet thunder now, Loudmouth, and a loudmouth II), ceramic brakes, adjustable shocks, 63K, cat deletes, intake, and a predator tuner I can probably sell once I get back and get HPTuners or EFIlive. Final price including the 2 spare catbacks was 14,500. I was looking for one last Dec, test drove a G8 GT, and impulse bought it that night. After 6 months of nitpicking I got rid of the G8 and decided to search for a GTO or Trans Am again, and now I've got both.

That's the one, it was on base for sale a month or two ago, and it disappeared the day I was planning on calling, then I spotted it again on craigslist the other day.
Now there's no need for the Z28, so it's back to plan A, I'm just gonna use the T56 and engine harness swap from it into my T/A and try unloading the roller in the few days I've got left.

Yeah, looks like it. Original reason for buying was parts anyway. I have a co-worker that has first dibbs on it actually, but he's broke.
I'm keeping the Vette wheels, and putting my worn T/A seats in the Camaro, then putting my T/A's auto console lid, shifter, and pedals into the Z. I told him $800, and I think it's pretty fair(including a 5.3 shortblock). I'll mention it here if he can't come up with $ since I'm a little worn out on Craigslist. I just told a guy to **** off on my Chevelle the other day, if you're asking me simple **** that's in the first sentence of the ad, how serious of a caller are you anyway.
