Im no longer going with the plan of putting the gmpp carb intake on my 6.0. Im now looking for a LS6 intake with rails and injectors. Also any info on which ecm i should use. My motor is a 2000 lq4 that im changing heads, cam, rod bolts, and intake on. Im looking for just a good street setup with a bad attitude. Any help is appreciated greatly.

Whats it going in? What happened to the 408? Just use a 99-02 0411 pcms. You'll never out grow it and they are everywhere

Im not going with a stroker. Its going to be something i can drive anywhere so there is no need to stroke it. Its going into my 68 c10 with the 4l80. I just want to change the heads, cam and intake for flow, looks, and sound lol. Is the 0411 what i have now (00 truck pcm for the 6.0)?

BTW before it gets out of hand i know that a stroker wouldnt make it any less streetable but its not a race truck or anything so my goal isnt worth the money.

I hear the 1LE is the one to get. From the GM dealer. I know that's for LT1s, might be true for LS1s, give it a shot I guess.

it probably is the pcm you have shane. you can pull it and look at the last #'s on the serial or model number, cant remeber which. but it'll have 0411. but its probably the 1 you already have

I could do it but it wouldn't be till this weekend. Lites must have been getting some flack for cutting off converters. They are well known for it. A little too well known.

They worked on my car with no cats about a month ago. I heard that around here a shop can get fined for doing stuff like that.....

If we took it up there it still would have two cats. So i Dont see what the big deal is. They wont be removing anything and it still would have cats on it lol. Just add two pipes and 30 mins later done lol.
