still clyde fant????! hell i use to hang out down there when i was a teenager like 20 years ago. man i seen some amazingly wierd things happen there.

what time does everyone usually show up down there?

 

I've never gone to Clyde Fant for the record Seems crowds sometimes bring "trouble." We will have get-togethers at somebody's house occasionally though.

Same here lol. I went a couple of weekends ago for the first time in 12yrs (since I was 19) and the cops showed up around midnight lol. I creeped off cause s'port pd and my camaro have never gotten along.

 

I work about a mile from there. Another buddy lives a few houses down from the school with a ws6. You will probably see him around

 

haha Todd, you were probably wondering what was wrong with my car. nothing is but a small amount of metal dust I found on the oil drain plug

and Clyde Fant is the usual hang out, but it's a far cry from 12 years ago, at least that's what people tell me that used to hang out there that long ago. I'm almost always there cause I get along with a small group of people so if I see your car i'll give ya a shout

 

Yea. I had a brown 79 z28 with a 406 in it in High School. Had some Weld Draglites. I no longer live in Louisiana (San Antonio, TX now). My parents just moved out of country place in June. Bought a house off of Swan Lake rd towards Benton.

Back when I was in HS, clyde fant was still pretty good. Used to cruise out there with a guy that had a vortech Supercharged black LT1. Before that he had a short will base chevy truck with a b & M blower on it. It was a good time for sure.

 

12+ years ago, fant was mostly muscle cars. Then the rice movement took over. I may or may not have been a part of it.....

 

Just had to fix a leaking cooler line. Went to lites and used there lift.

 

Hows it running? Good?

 

It's running real good. Or as good as its going to with 87 in it. Only complaint is the heat. A flat black truck with no a/c gets hot when were not moving. Truck is staying around 180* in stop and go traffic. Don't think ill ever have a overheating problem if I don't now lol.

Anyone want to get together tonight and just shoot the ****? We will be heading back home tomorrow.

i didn't like fant at 1st but sense know one ever hangs out i go and it hasnt been bad. haven't seen cops once after going maybe 5-8 times

 

Nice meeting/running ya Andy. Car moves good but once I get a little more traction the truck should wake up sooner.
