With the stock torque arm my pinion angle was at -1 with the LCA in the lowest hole. If you have a adjustable torque arm dial it in around the control arms in the lowest hole. With my BMR adj. torque arm i got my best 60fts. with a -2.5 angle.
Thanks alot StreetStalker. I'll definately try that, especially since I'll be putting the cam in before too much longer.

Found some issues with the suspension. I knew the car needed some rear suspension tweaking after the last track outting at prescott raceway, guess it was needing it. The QA1 shocks and springs showed that my stock rear sway bar was not able to hold up to the power.

The new swaybar is a spohn 25mm or 1 inch bar. The pictures does not do the spohn bar justice on the actual size difference. Couple more missing peice's and i should be ready to make some more runs at the track

First picture is the stock rear sway bar bolts POWA!

Yep! All my other suspension peices were aftermarket except for the rear sway bar. Your suspension and drivetrain will start finding weak points after you get to a certain level of 60fts. then it's almost nessary to replace the stock peices to stronger aftermarket peices. I did not think it was binding the sway bar that bad until i put the QA1 shocks and springs on then i got full weight transfer and found out (through videos and eyewitnesses) but that was my first outing with the shocks and springs and that was all it took.

QA1s and springs made a huge difference in getting the frontend to transfer on my car. Now i may be looking at getting some SYA bars from madman for the nitrous

Chris you called it on my KS problem. Both wires were pinched extremely bad. I had to cut the wire from my old harness and splice it all back together. Took it for a nice long ride with some spirited intervals and the SES light never came back on so maybe now I can move on to other things. I'm getting good at taking the intake on and off. It only took me 1hr to pull it, splice the wires and put it back on. Geez my back hurts. That's the 4th time this weekend that I've done it.

Scott, I've been telling you your susp. was the problem after watching you launch several times. I'm glad you got it figured out. Man you should have been at RRR Friday, it was STICKY!

Josh, I knew that was it.

I noticed that as well. My car was bogging bad. Wonder why the prep was so good compared to the last few times I went? Think they might have gotten the hint?

Didn't get a clean run since my knock sensors started acting up. Threw a SES light about 80ft from the traps so I got out of it immediately and ran a 13.1. I think it might of popped a high 12 had that not happened. Either I'm right or my mind is playing tricks on me, but I sware putting that LS6 intake on raised my power band some. I was crossing the traps around 6200 now I'm crossing at 6500 and where the shift light comes on is too close to shift into 4th cause it will kill my ET. Does this make sense?

Really? The last time I went I was leaving sideways all night. Shift to 2nd and go sideways again. I always get stuck in the left lane which usually when that happens, but friday the left was hooking good.

I did have a good laugh on my pass though. That little honda was banging rev limiter at the tree and I started laughing then killed that awful noise with an 8 cylinder symphony.

Yeah,it started changing late last year. Watching the videos of the LSX shootout i found that i was not getting any weight transfer off the nose,so i had to go with the QA1 shocks and springs to get the car to transfer the weight like it used to do but when that happened the stock swaybar could not handle it and started twisting badly at full extention.

I have changed the TB,MAF,Lid,28" MT DRs,QA1 shocks and springs,LCA,4.11 gears, spohn drag sway bar and played around with some little things on the suspension as well. If i can get the other 3-4 things going by october i exspect to start seeing the full potential of the 6.0L motor then. <caugh>vicjrntaksdtunnoscontrolr<caugh>

How did the maiden voyage of the auto transmission go for you?

There was 4 of us from EFI Club that showed up to test&tune, but the super pro and no e cars invited us to run with them in the jackpot race. Now this is where I get to brag on our little race club, we ran the no e side. Josh had car trouble, Chris & I made one round, here's the part I like Johnny Ainsworth was the winner in no e. Johnny drives his car to the track and was knocking the tree down all night, until he went up for the jackpot round. Where he red lighted with a strong super pro winner in the other lane. That was some great R/T's that Johnny was getting and he was putting them back on & in their trailers. It just does my heart good to see a car driven to the track and running that good. Congratulations Johnny Ainsworth

i have to admit, im getting pretty excited about my cam swap. i finally am rounding up the final pieces, only thing left im waiting on is the msd wires and new plugs to come in then im set. im gonna hook up with greg for a quick reflash to get me back on track and then it should be running good. i mean its running great now so this cam should only make it better. i know its not the biggest but i think its gonna be a good improvement. im thinking LCA relo brackets next with some et streets. i dont drive the car much anyway and hilton seems to like his. i think that should be good for a good reduction in ETs. my only concern is how much louder my exhaust is gonna get with this swap. its already ignorant loud when i mash on it and with this stall i have to see at least 3Ks to get the car moving. any thoughts?
