Broke my accessory belt at wot today. Boy did I think it was serious, lol. Any way, new belt and no more flickering lights. The brakes are even noticeably firmer.

I was about to upgrade the alternator and the "big 3". Hopefully the belt will do the trick.

I don't. There are several threads (started by clutch manufacturers even) that explain how to do this. I have even watched the youtube video Spec put out.

Hey guys,

I am looking for a set of 243 or 799 casting heads for my 99 FRC vette.

I have a Ls6 intake complete with fuel rails and injectors I would be willing to trade for the right set of heads, or pay cash.

Also, I guess there is a car show off of 70th street this weekend in Shreveport if anyone wants to go.

Yes, it's at Strawn's Eat shop Too off of 70th. It's called "BreakFast and Fast rides"...Sort of a spinoff of "Cars and coffee".

I should be there.

Guess the main problem was that I didn't know how to use a dial caliper.

I got just the t top seal. Both were about $70 shipped from Rick's Camaros. Easy to install, just four screws. Used a flat head to push them in place. I had to do it twice to get them to seal right on the edges, but it wasn't bad. Took me about an hour to get it perfect. I'm gonna spray it at the car wash tomorrow to test them out.

Anyone have some DRs or slicks I can borrow for the track tonight? I can pay as much as $100 to rent them if need be. I haven't done any grinding or banging, so they'd have to fit a stock set up. I just want to know my ET on current mods.
