As easy as everything else looked, I figured it would be rather easy to change for the gear ratios. When do you want to finish the tune? I'm not doing anything friday or we can wait until saturday. Doesn't matter.

Ok. I'll call you around 9? I'll probably be up around 7, but don't want to disturb the neighbors that early lol.

I'd be happy running a low 12. I dont go often, so i am not exactly a professional at this stuff. I just want some decent slip for me

I don't like the idea of possibly having to get a cage at all just to get a run in. I stii have to buy the ds loop, subframes, and the back tires. i'll be getting hiltons wheels in a few days. buying a cage would just be too much for me to spend just to be able to race the damn thing at the track

I've ran low 11s at all the local tracks and no one has ever mentioned a cage to me. Just go to Prescott and they'll probably let you race with the top down... I love it there.

Chris:

Despite the misfortune of having to spend more money, just look at it this way:

You'll totally look like a badass in a TA with a cage

its not the $$ that bothers me. its the wife. shes not crazy about me dropping $1k for all the stuff I need. its not like last year when I got lt's, all the cam stuff and the 9" all in a pretty quick time frame. now I have to "talk to someone about it". I hate to get all this stuff and still have to buy a cage to use it

You wouldn't have got away with that long at RR back in 98-00 when Tom Brown was running the show. Back then 11.99 or faster required a bar and 14.99 or faster in a vert.
