TNT says thier foggers are 10x better than NX??
was on the phone today with a guy from TNT nitrous and i was talking to them about thier ls1 power ring kit. I was interested in swapping my NX kit to a tnt power ring setup and the ring with foggers is $299...(way to much!)...but after talking to him he just said buy the foggers (80 for both) and just put them in my stock intake piping on both sides.
TNT claims the nitrous fuel distribution of thier foggers is uncomparable to nx and nos because its so good. He also said a 250 rwhp shot on a forged ls1 is no problem because the distribution is almost as good as a true direct port.
You guys think?

Re: TNT says thier foggers are 10x better than NX??
My thoughts,
1) Although TNT kits usually make more power, I believe it is because the actually size of the jets orfice, where an NX/NOS kit will say 100jets and you normally see 90, the TNT will give 105, but I think if you used the NX jets in the TNT kit you would have more like 90 as well.
2) I am skeptical about anyone claiming their fogger to be superior enough to atomize a 250 wet shot without puddling...but then again, there people running, or have run a 200 wet kit and no problem ( I tried it but wrong tuning, only got about 150 out of it). Maybe they are right.
Again thats my thoughts.

Re: TNT says thier foggers are 10x better than NX??
i have had nx, tnt and now a nx direct port. the nx jets seem to be leaning towards the rich side where the tnt are more toward the lean side. thats probably the hp difference.
nx 100 shot netted me 85 to the wheels with a stock cam, tnt 100 shot netted me 120 to the wheels with a mild nitrous cam, and nx direct port netted me 120 to the wheels with a tr224 which isnt as good on the jug as others. i dont have a accurate comparison, but thats also just my observations.
i had better luck with my nx kit than with my tnt kit. plus i hate cutting up my lid to get that damn ring to fit and even then it still never fit right.

It is nothing compared to a direct port, I'm not sure what planet that guy fell off of but the distribution of a direct port it 100% equal across the board..

You already have one NX nozzle, why not just buy one more and have two of them? Give Nitro Dave a call, he can hook you up with what you need.

Man this one is wild.
The horse power differences is from the jetting. Both the TNT and NX are nice kits. But lets compare apples to apples. If you put the exact same orfice size jets in each kit odds are they will make the exact same power.NX has desighned there kits to run alittle fat for safety. If you want more horses just change the jets.

two are thought to atomize and distribute more evenly...probably important past 150 hp. THe NX GM MAF kit has provisions for two sets of foggers, which would probably be the hot set up for more than 100-150 hp setups. However, you still run into the possibility of puddling and all that "blowin up ****" stuff that isn't any fun. I have the MAF kit (not installed), and I may order another set of nozzles and solenoids to make it a dual kit and hit 75 and 100 shots on it).
