okay just weight it, n2o bottle weighs at 20.6lbs so still 6 lbs left, nano gauge indicates 2500 psi, however the output from the n2o will not go above 900 with the nano on, i think the nano reg failed

I'll head out and pull the bottle in a min and let you know how much is in it.
Have you check for a leak yet? it may be leaking slowly at the higher pressures only then seals it self again once it drops to about 900. Some bubble spray made form dish soap and h2o is the ticket but must n=be on full fills for each bottle. you would not believe how many set-ups actuallu have very, vary small leaks. then if your leaving the NANO bottle open, it may just be bleeding off? somehting to check anyway. that would explain it working correctly then not the next time cause of pressure drop.

I just read your next post. call them up and see if you can get a replacement, or at least tlk to them and see what they say.

Has anyone had any issues with summertime heat with the NANO system? The owners manual says for this system to operate properly the nitrous bottle temperature must not exceed 80 degrees F. I think it is safe to assume that many cars sit out in the hot sun and then take off for a ride.

Yes the nitrous bottle needs to be below 80 deg. The reason is because above 80 the nitrous trys to go into vapor form form which cancels out our jetting. I was in phoenix arizona at speedworld dragway this weekend. I kept an ice bag on the bottles and they stayed around 65deg with no problem. For a street car a headache bag with ice or a freeze pack works wonders.

I usually throw a damp towel over it in the summer months.

I'm the NITROUS noobie BUT, this might just work. It's designed to cool the intake and has 2 large gel packs. It simply Velcros in place. No reason why we can't use it for the bottle.

On another subject, the owners manual says to Turn the NANO on you rotate the On/Off valve counter clockwise to turn system on. The writing on the top of the valve shows counter clockwise is CLOSE. On this system, does close on the valve actually turn the system on? When I installed the Universal Fill Adapter On/Off valve, I closed the valve as I figured that was the correct way and then I turned the valve onto the NANO bottle. I didn't hear anything either. Anyone have any insight?

screwing the top in (clockwise), should open it if i recall, disconect the nano line from the n2o bottle turn the valve and see if air comes out of the line, there are a few misprints in the manual and some of the flyers but it isn't a big deal, just follow the writing on the valve and you should be okay. Im assuming that when you say you didnt hear anything when you turned it on that the nano was hooked to the n2o bottle right? do you know what the pressure of the n2o bottle is, if it is above 1100 that could be why you didnt hear the nano charge the n2o bottle.

My NANO bottle has now started to leak air on the seam around where the regulating components screw onto the bottle. It is the first piece that screws onto the bottle that stops just above the fill port. Has anyone experienced this or heard of it. This is only my second time having it filled.

I have one that has a small leak also. this is not uncommon for mass produced products. before filling next time, can you just reseal the threads your self?

Still need clarification on in this....

Will it be the same on a 10lber vs a 15lber???

Need to know what the bottle pressure would be at for a 15lb bottle.

Thanks to Scott(my6speedz) we will be trying this out, I guess even if we don't don't get the info needed we will wing it!

Scott check the yellowbullet nitrous forum I made a thread there and it's getting a lot more traffic.
