Got my nano today. Got a few questions.

I have a dynotune wet kit and just got a 3000psi nano universal kit. First off none of my stuff is installed nor have I ever installed anything related to nitrous.

So my first question is my dynotune bottle has three ports on the bottle valve. One for the blowdown tube, one for the nitrous line, and one has my presure gauge in it.

Now I was told that the nano line goes into the port where my gauge is now. So what do I do about my gauge? I was looking on summit and found this.

Is this what I need to have my gauge and nano on the same port? Any sponsor's sell these? Sponsors help me out, fix me up with what I need.

Thanks.

Do you have a bottle warmer? Usually those bottle warmer kits come with a little manifold type thing for the pressure sensor...use that.

LOL.. been a long day.

Yea.. I mean to say is where are you putting the NANO set up at in the car... In the trunk area, you cant see the pressure gauge anyways.

I ended up running a N20 pressure guage up in the dash so I could see it.

I have my wideband in the 1st vent to the right for easy vision, and the next one over is the N20 pressure guage.

I do, but the fitting for the heater goes to the nitrous line and its bigger then the one that the gauge is in.

Is there any real world comparisons with this system?
Anyone on here have any updates to performance?

I also have one 15lb bottle and 2 10's. I spray a 300 hit. What kit would I want to use? Is there any problem with the bottle mounted sideways in my spare tire hole with my NOS bottle?

Should I really have the nozzle facing forward(for both )?

ok guys, bought to setup my nano over the next few days,
A) how do you adjust the desired pressure, 900, 1000, etc
B) just ask for nitrogen enriched air (aka nitrox) at a scuba shop
C) when filling a partially empty nitrous bottle, turn it upside down, open until nitrous comes out, correct?
D) what do most people turn on first? n20 or nitrogen?

yes just put the pressure guage in there it will only read when the bottle is open however. If you have a bottle heater you might have the sensor in there you wont need the bottle heater anymore so just remove that. On a side not i dont even check my nitrous pressure guage anymore i know its at 1050 when the nano is open

just be careful with that durring the summer ruckuss as you remember from 1320x the heat can get the pressure above 1000psi then we have to dump air or n20

A) Haven't worried about it.
B) Don't use nitrox. Use either compressed nitrogen or regular air.
C) Correct.
D) Nitrogen for me, but I don't think it'll matter.

Look at the pics above your post (Ruckus) and the aluminum "stands" the are on the NANO bottle and the nitrous bottle come with the kit. You will need to purchase the larger clamps to secure the "stands" to your bottle.

Is NANO needed, not really. But it is highly suggested!! You can't beat all of the benefits that you will gain from it. Instant pressure, no bottle heater and related wiring and one of the best things is that you get to use almost all of the nitrous in your bottle!!

OK; I have alot of complicated questions, and what I have experienced, thats needs to be solved;

important facts; All runs on a dyno, going through a built 347, 3600stall/automatic

A.) on a 75 jet nitrous/100 jet fuel, I was off the charts (around 10-1 AFR)and I gained 69hp at the wheels

B.) on a 100 nitrous/125 fuel..same as above gained 96ish rwhp

C.) 100N/100F was leaner 10.8-11.0 whole run gained 97rwhp

D.)150N/150F was also better, 10.8 early, then bumped up to 11.3ish gained 125 rwhp

pressure was at 1025-1050 via 2 gauges, I also only gained 125RWHP on 150RWHP jets(nitrous outlet)

IM digging for answers! discuss/
