Default How much nitrous you guys go thru?

I just got done gearing, stalling, MVB and rest of bolt ons. But Im thinking id rather spray than cam. But if i spray im going to hit it.... a lot. like prolly 2/day at least. And I will go postal if i run out against someone fast. The deal is if im running a 100-150 shot do i need to run 2 bottles? Or big one? Dont really now much about the quantity of nitrous you go thru.

From my experience, once the bottle gets about half way or less, it's pretty much done with.

I'm doing a little researching on the NANO setup that will let you use all the nitrous in your bottle and more efficiently. Might be something for you to look into !

depends how often you really want to go that fast.
it gets really addictive. when i first got it dialed in i was going through a bottle every 3 days.

with the stall, i don't feel the need to spray so much, but i did go through a full bottle on a 3.5hr drive last month. when i ran out, i didn't feel like i needed another bottle. i felt like i needed rehab or something.

1 10lb bottle should do you good unless your closest refill station is a long drive away. but if you run big shots or intend to make a lot of 1/4 mile passes, you could probably use 2 bottles.

you can make 6-7 full 100-150 shot 1/4 mile passes on 1 10lb bottle prolly 8-10 on a 15# and if you dont purge a lot you will be fine

My bottle is always empty...

Buy two and keep one full and ready.

sounds pretty close to me...but it will all depend on how long the passes are.

You will use 1# of nitrous every 10 seconds if you are jetted for 100hp

I wouldn't think that the seventh run would have any bottle pressure....

As stated above it will depend on how long the runs are.

seven 10 second runs will use 7# leaving 3.7# still in the bottle
seven 13 second runs will use 9.1# leaving less than a pound in the bottle

And what would the bottle pressure be with even 4# left?

It might not matter for the dry shots but for a wet shot the pressure needs to be consistent.

At least in my experience, a 10# bottle is only good for 5 full pressure 11 second shots at 150. After that I switch bottles or risk running too rich.

Solution - Post #2: Nano system.

five 11 second runs jetted for 150 HP will use 8.25# ...each run uses 1.65#

We have a station pretty close. We dont have a place that can fill a nano to the psi it would need. So im stuck with a warmer. Id start with a 100 but im sure with the circle I run in i would want the 150 real soon. I dunno on a good night i race quite a bit but i wouldnt need the spray for every run. Guess i should just do both the cam and spray. A buddy of mine was saying as much as i run the car i it would cost me more in No2 than gas

If you run THAT much it might just be better to save and put turbo/blower on the car and call it good...
