200 shot on stock lt1 long block?
I want to spray a 200 shot on my 146,000 mile longblock. Could I do a 100 dry and a 100 wet and get away with it? Im in colorado so the motor dosnt make very much power at this altitude.

I agree. You certainly could do it and some have, but be prepared should something go wrong. The tune and fueling will need to be spot on. Myself, if I had the funds to back it up, I know I would spray the crap out of it. make sure you break the torque up with a dual stage and don't spray at to low of an RPM with the combined hit.

Well its not my daily driver jus a play toy so if it blows no big deal. I will have it tuned on the dyno If I decide to try this. I have the zex kit with a 52 jet right now spraying dry. I found a nx wet kit for $200 so I figure I could spray 100 wet with it around 4500 rpms and get my car into the 11's

I've got a '94 Caprice that has been running a 175 wet shot for a while. Its just a dd/beater car that I race once in a while for laughs. The only bolt ons it has include an underdrive, dual 2.5" exhaust with flowmaster 2 chambers and a homeade CAI....still has the stock exhaust manifolds. It has a 3800 Vig stall and 4.10 gears. The last time the odometer worked it showed 172,xxx LOL.
We haven't even had it on the dyno to see what the tune looks like on spray, but it runs 7.80's @ 90 mph in the 1/8
Once I get some headers on it I'm gonna bump the pills 'till she blows LOL

That caprice must be bad ***! I might just tune the zex dry shot to 150 on the dyno and call it good on the stock block. Then when it pops Ill build a nitrous motor.

Decided to go with the zex 100 shot for the first stage and a brand x wet kit for the second 100 stage. Think it will go Boom? hahhaha Or whould I do wet for the first stage and dry for the second? Also at what rpm should I bring in the second stage?

Nothing is garaunteed with nitrous as you know lol, will it blow, who knows, but i think you'll be better off running ALL wet on a plate system for a 200 shot. I've seen guys run 250-300 from the "gate" through stock bottom end engines, but they spend half there life under the hood making sure the tune is "DEAD" on & the car stays hooked " engine loaded", even though your getting the fuel you need, once you over-rev. the engine, thats what takes out bearings, so forth, so on, if the car stays hooked, you'de be surprized how low you can hit it without damaging things.

if you want to hit a single stage 200 this is what I would get.
http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...roduct_id=2806
available in 52, 58 or monoblade.
The plate and solenoids will easily flow the 200 you are wanting...the brand X kit and our plate will be max flowing the solenoids. Some kits will struggle to make advertised HP if they are being max flowed. That why we designed our plates and solenoids to out flow the recommended jetting.

I would think you will be fine but it would be best to monitor fuel pressure as you increase the shot size. BUt please realize when I say it will be fine...I mean the fuel pump can support the HP. You will be walking on egg shells.
