Default Nitrous Pressure gauge sensor location?

I was wondering what would be optimum? The Pressure gauge sending unit being mounted at the bottle(s) or at the end of the feed line towards the solenoids? If at the end of the feed line before or after the purge solenoid?

I have my sensor right before my purge and NOS noid, I also have my old pressure gauge on the bottle still, just never took it off, with my bottle heater on and up to temp, I have only ever seen a 25psi max drop between the bottle and the noid.

I have mine in the engine bay. The reason is less junk hanging off the bottle. Look at all the installs where guys hang the sensor and all their other stuff on the bottle, looks like crap IMO. But you can have it on either end it really doesn't matter.

Either place is really fine to mount the gauge. I usually mount the electric sending units to the end of the feed line and the small gauges I mount to the bottle itself. On the bigger builds we usually use two gauges to monitor pressure drop across the feedline.

With NANO, no more pressure drop. I have my electric at the end of feed line and reg bottle gauge on bottle. that way the mech gauge I can see from my back window anytime, and the electric gauge is in my pod for when sitting on my duff. I have my electric wired into my HP Tuner program to compare psi drop with and with out the NANO, and single 15lb'er and/or dual 15lb'er. worked on my wiring of the 3-stage last night from 11:00pm until 6:00am this morning. those guys that claim they do a wiring job in two hours, ha, lol.

My NX bottle guage was at 1050lbs and the Autometer guage (electric) at the noids was at 875-890lbs. I was told this was normal because of the length of line. I still have a hard time believing this is normal. I've been too lazy to try another guage.

Yup not normal. I would have to say one of them is off.
