You know 0 about nitrous obviously from the first sentance!

BTW stock ported heades going 10.4 is a joke...

Yes he does. Everyone else who has been spraying for decades are just a ..... Wait, There it is, F**king Id**ts

And just an FYI on the "ac blowing cold"...... Your AC compressor shuts off when you go WOT, so leaving it on will do nothing to effect performance

Just for the record all of the bolts were installed and tightened before leaving my shop. I would NEVER in a million years send a car out that had missing bolts. Nor am i too lazy to install them. I used to R&R transmissions for a living so I do have all the goodies that make it that much easier. I guess from now on I will have to video tape and/or take photos of everything to prove that my work was done properly.

The fact is whether it be crazy d, the owner of the car, or any other shop, whoever installed it last is a hack. They didn't back out, they where not installed out of laziness; I know for a fact I build race cars for a living and I hit the bellhousing bolts with impacts too...never had one back out. furthermore Ive taken my knock sensors out all together... Its all in the tune.

I do it for a living. We have to torque everybolt

I call BS on that. My father just retired(after being struck by lightning) and he was ASE mastertech etc etc etc. Only thing he used a torque wrench on is engine and tranny parts and torque to yield parts. Stuff that just bolts. Stuff that is only crucial to clearances.

Ive got him outta that stage now lol

Are you saying 241/853s can't go 10.40s? Or that it's simple and not a big feat?

actually, yes you do have time on commission. I have been involved with the flat rate time studies. The time includes torqueing everybolt

Im saying its simple. and very doable. I did it back in 01 with ported 853's on a 150 shot with mac headers and a 224 cam way before people could actually tune and good parts were out. We put a stock ported 853 car to 9.8 with 120K miles @ 3500 lbs. with a 225 shot on a small budget.

How can we even know that Crazy D did do everything correctly and you all just backed the bolts out and put the wire to get some money back out of it? Innocent until proven guilty and you have nothing to prove Crazy D jacked up your car. Pictures aren't worth a ****.

Who tuned the car? Sorry if you said it but damn it's like reading a bitching contest between a bunch of third graders.

How hard is this to understand? I mean really...it's this simple:

SHITTY TUNE+SPRAY+BEAT THE **** OUT OF IT = YOU AND YOU ONLY FUCKED UP YOUR CAR.

Say bye now.

Whatever im done with all of this i have witnesses that were at the shop the time the motor and trans was pulled the bolts and wire was missing, i live in an apartment and have no access to tools, and third i think all of you would have drove your car out of a bad south side chicago area if it was your last resort. Either way i will no longer send anyone to crazy D, and suggest to anyone i talk to stay away, and my car will be back out again this summer racing...

No, I'm pretty sure I'd just drive it home and lick my wounds instead of hanging out by the hood. haha

Well at least I won't get blamed when this motor pops as well. I guess maybe then you will see the light. Kyle again I am sorry about your luck on this one. But the converter install was in no way related to your engine spinning the bearing or whatever happened inside there. Even though I am unsure about thye pinching of the harness I am more than willing to fix it for you. Having a pinched wire is a far cry from reimbursing you for a converter install.

BTW I showed Lee from Van Senus the pics you posted and uhm even he says that it would take work to get that harness pinched in there. Its a pretty thick harness so. So something is fishy man sorry. But if it smells like sh** and looks like sh** usually it is. Again I am sorry that you were not happy with the work that I didi for you. I guess you can make some of the people happy some of the time but not all the people happy all of the time.

Its actually not that hard to do.

Why has no one stripped the harness apart to see if it actually cut the wires?

Jesus, this entire thread is a complete disaster, bar none.
If nothing else, it's like an online version of Jerry Springer.

Well in my area of parts/shops All shops use impacts on almost everything, not a problem, also the knock sensor was not your problem and a trouble code would of been showing, this is why most shops will not do installs on performance stuff and its a shame. Bottom line the motor was gonna give from the start or the tune was no good. Either way sorry for your lost motor, Time to go bigger, badder, and well stronger
