Default Making a rear hump mount...

How difficult would this be? I dont feel like dishing out 80 bucks for one when i figure i can make one that will work just as well. Anyone have any write ups on how to do this??

Thanks any help is appreciated!

hey it’s not too hard to make your own mount I did it I just used some ¾” wide aluminum rod bent it around the bottle and put a hole in the top to run a bolt through so I can tighten the bracket around the bottle I can send you a pic if you like.

I have one that i'm not going to use, I started to polish it more but it's brand new with mounting bolts in package. If you're interested, just send me a PM with what you're thinking.

Honestly, all the homemade ones I've seen were kind of ugly...So I went with the one from NitrousOutlet.

(No offense meant to anyone who built their own, sorry)

none taken, i have the opinion he has about the 80 bucks, yeah it looks cool, but so does ingenuity!!!

i just bought some 1/8 aluminum, 1 1/2 wide. and bent them in a metal brake. the tops are 6 inches wide and the legs going down are 8 inches in front and 9 inches in the rear, and i was able to use the seatbelt bolts for the rear and just lagged the front. also, pics were taken with a cell phone.

and one with the seat in!!!
