Just curious how much NOS i can run with a stock bottom end LS1 without detonating it? I plan on replacing the rod bolts with some new ARP hardware!

...to actually answer the question, id say 150 or 175 shot. although i have seen several handle a 200shot if it is setup perfectly..and with a spot on tune

 

Dont blow the welds on the INTAKE !!!!

 

If you run a dry shot your going to need to include some bigger injectors in your list. BTW, I'm digging the sig pic of the clown mushroom cloud.

that 100 shot of NOS blew welds on the intake,, now me and the mad scientist gotta rip apart the block and replace the piston rings you fried.....
back on topic as long as your tune is dead on and having the fueling system to support it you can go 200 all day..
