Progress Pics...Finished 430 LSX C5R pics....
Just thought I would share some new pictures of my 427 LSX engine. We just set the valve lash and installed the intake this morning. I've got a few odds and ends to finish up, but overall the engine is ready to set in the car. Once my new torque converter comes in this weekend, I'll have the engine and transmission installed friday. If all goes well, I'd love to have it fired up on either this coming sunday or during the next week.
I'd like to thank Kelley and Brian @ Thomson Automotive for the kickass machine work and shortblock parts...... Cary @ Performance Induction for the awesome heads and intake system......Nitro Dave for the killer direct port system......And my close family friend, Don Baxter... for the complete engine assembly.
Its hard these days to find shops or guys that are GREAT to deal with and wont screw ya.....and the guys above are the BEST.
I'll have some engine bay update pictures here in a few days......it was all painted and cleared, along with switching over to ALL black AN hose and fittings.

Very, very nice. that is like show quality. don't ya hate having to get it dirty, lol. that's the worst part, trying to keep it looking good. hey i have the perfect part to compliment your system and it's brand new. The 3 per side burst discs pop at 75 to 90 psi. I am going a different route on my set-up now.

That is one of our goals.....
But mainly I want to be competitive in a local 8.20 cap class
On a side note, did Cary set you up with the small bore C5R's? I had originally talked about buying the small bore heads and using them on my old shortblock. But then I changed my mind as I was wanting to step up to the 6 bolt block.
