Default switch panel wiring question

i was wondering if this is an acceptable way to wire the switches together. keep in mind that they may not be hooked to the right pins on the switches themselves but you get the idea. thanks for looking and i appreciate the insight.

Yep your on the right track. Vinny @ 860 showed me this trick of "Y"ing the connections.

I forget if its 14 gauge or 16 wire I used. Think its 16

thats the best way to do it. That way you have One hot wire and one ground wire for all of the switches!

Yup, perfectly good. If you're not running a relay on the purge, make sure that the current draw from your switched 12V is sufficient.

I typically do the daisy chain method as shown on the back of the white panel, looks cleaner.

I have question....I also "y" my connections but i didnt do them ALL to one power wire.....If u have multiple switches on the same hot wire, will there be no issues?...I have 2 power wires for 7 switches.

Well for most of the switches you're just supplying a low amp reference to complete the relay. What switches do you all have?

1. nitrous arm
2. purge
3. Linelock arm
4. line lock activation
5. Heater
6. Timing retard (IAT mod)
7. opener

I am running

Line Lock
Dry Arm (to relay)
Wet Arm (to relay)
Gauge Power
LC1 WB power
Purge (to relay)
EFI Live Arm (just goes to ground)
and an Opener (direct to battery fused on + side)

from 25 Amps Switched Source (Factory Spare pigtail under the passenger footwell in the C-5)

Likely worst case your going to be running the heater (a relay so its low amps) and the opener at the same time.

You will run the Line lock maybe with the heater on...but the arm will be off as well as your bottle should be open by then...

You will probably purge with the heater on, but likely with nothing else on

When running the nitrous your arm and heater will be on

If you go crazy and turn everything on at once maybe you will have issues, if you manage the accessories in a efficient manner, you should have no problem.
