Default Running lean on a 150 shot wet

I was at the dyno yesterday and my car had a 13/1 afr on motor and went to 16/1 on the 150 shot. Im running a nitrous outlet plate kit. the car made 318 rwhp and 461 rwhp on the bottle. Why would me car lean out like that? Could it be air in the fuel line and noid? This is the first time ive sprayed the kit.

it will have a quick lean spike but should have dropped back quickly after that. have you got a fuel pressure gauge ? it may be the pump.

Maybe someone pissed on your LT1 ? haha

Was it a 16/1 spike or did it run out across the graph like that ?

Spikes are common in the beginning of a dyno run .

I would look into your fuel supply for sure .

No idea whats up with your A/F. Mine was right on the money, and there was no lean spike to speak of with Daves plate kit. I gained what you did, as far as the increase of rwhp with the 150 jets.

I put a gauge on it today and it has 40psi and with the regulator unplugged it has 45psi. But whn I spray the fuel noid pressure drop to 35psi Think a hotwire kit will help this?

I'm not sure, but my quess is, it can't hurt. Normally when you see the pump in someones sig, you take it for granted they used the hotwire kit.

Yup pulled the line off the plate and sprayed it into a beer bottle. alot of air came out at first but then a solid spray of fuel came out.
Filled the bottle about 1/4 up with just three quick sprays from a 38 jet. while bogging the engine.

Why would it bog the engine?...my understanding is that a wet kit adds the fuel....so when u spray it ur injectors shouldnt spray extra fuel therefor no bog.

Pressure should not drop. Your pump is not sufficient.

the 255 on a good regulator should feed 700 fwhp easy. if you emptying the lines on that small shot something is not right either the regulator or pump. did you change the fuel filter? also try blocking off the fuel noid so its not actually flowing fuel just clicking . If it still drops it could be a voltage issue instead of a fuel flow issue.

Its going to drop when you have the line venting into the bottle. Just think of it as a giant leak. You need to verify that a) you're not seeing a huge pressure drop while spraying b) the plunger isn't swollen (keep in mind plungers lift off the seal mere fractions of an inch) c) you're line isn't too long. Start with the basics first.
