It's going to come down to your tune. If it's rich they will not last as long. My car idles and cruises pretty lean and I'm sure I could do it even though I never have.

You hit the nail on the head Speedy. My car drove everywhere on 8's. It was tuned on 8's and I sprayed on the 9's and 10's I ran. Im a hardcore street car guy so I could give 2 ***** about idle quality, I just want to make it to the track or wherever Im going without fouling plugs. So I tuned the car myself with the cold plugs in and it was great.

I run TR6's on the motor and swap them out for non-projected tip 8s at the track. no reason to run an 8 just to get to and from the track.

NGK B8EFS stock # 1049

Autolite - AR474

Both non-projected tip heat range 8 plugs...If you need part numbers 9's 10's or anything else just let me know

I doubt they will have that plug in stock either. Besides its still a projected tip. First rule with racing..never rush anything. Get the right plugs.

Im running BR7EFS non projected tipped plugs they work great in my blown engine, I see one guy mention B8EFS Do u need to run a resistor plug? I have always ran resistor plugs in mine. Mine hated TR6s with projected tip, didnt last long.

I tested out the non projected 8s they worked great loaded the car on the trailer and made serveral passes and loaded back up with no issues just tunning the car for the DP. When im ready to set some new personal best I will be switching them out before the run. thanks
