I don't know an official time....but I usually try to give an hour or so, and I've never had any problems.

only takes a cpl minutes and its good to go, loctite is an anaerobic sealer so it hardens in the absence of air...i had a demonstration of permatex thread sealants where the guy put on a cpl drops of there red on a bolt, screwed it into a nut and passed it around with 2 wrenches and no one could break it lose after setting up for only about 30 seconds...

I have put things together with Loctite and try to take it apart a few seconds later and had to heat it up to break the loctite loose. It sets up under pressure pretty much instantly.

One thing i did notice is that if your sealing up a fuel line , you need to let the loctite sit up longer .

I would seal a fuel line and test it for leaks and it wouldnt hold but after cleaning the fittings an resealing it and letting it sit over night , it never leaked again .

I'd give at least 5min at the minimum of solid drying time to be sure.
