I've gotten very lucky with a few things on this car, and the converter is one of them. I don't know if you remember FEARTHELS1 on here, he's been out of the game for a while, but anyways, he lived like 10 minutes from me and we were pretty good friends and he had bought a Yank SS4000E for his turbo 400 that he was going to throw in there when he decided to spray the car, well he never ended up spraying it, so he sold me the converter and the rear hals that I have in the car for $600 and this thing has worked awesome for me! It's very efficient and gains 30 - 31 out the back door on spray, sixties like a **** on the spray and has taken everything I have ever thrown at it!!! From my understanding, they weren't supposed to be this good of a nitrous converter, but somebody did something right! And i'm going on i'd say 4 - 5 years on this converter through a lot of different setups and lots and lots of nitrous! I knock on wood all the time that I got so lucky!

Yeah dude, and it's gonna go in the glide as well, we'll see how it does, if it doesn't work, i'll finally buy a custom converter, haha! But I have a feeling it's gonna work great on spray, it's gonna be even more of a turd on motor though, but who cares about motor!

IF you don't mind me asking how much did you spray? Was it a plate system or fogger? What do you run on motor? By the way very nice times. I can only hope that I can run somewhere close to that time one day. I brought a used converter from a guy who says it stalled at 4000 for him but he has a turbo car. Due to funds I had to role with this converter and I hope to take it to the track Saturday for some runs on motor. Hope I can get some good times. I may get lucky and be able to spray the car. I can only hope to get as lucky as you say you are. Congrats on the new best. You have a beast there.

^ Or like a panda, depending on how you look at it. ![The Jester](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_jest.gif)
So you're really leaving on a 110 shot. I'm not being an ***, but power wise you shouldn't be making a enough to put it on the bumper every time. Something is slightly off with the suspension. I've seen people push nitrous cars way further with a TH400 and not have those kind of problems. Obviously it hooks, but you are possibly over transferring weight. Do you have any travel limiters?

Ever try taking off in 2nd with the 400? I did this by mistake one day. After the burn out I forgot to push it up in 1st. so I left in 2nd. I ran it all the way out to the 1/4 at 10.80. lol.
It felt like I was driving a glide haha.

Thanks dude, it's just an nos big shot plate with an .093n/.082f in it, when I was on the cheater plate that was rated at 250, but I guess because of the extra holes in the big shot it's rated at 275. And I wish I wouldve ran it out, definately wouldve been an 8.9, cuz I went 9.09 previous time out with a 5.84 1/8th.

Not super high compression, 12:1. Still run 93 in the main tank to feed the motor and c16 in the standalone to feed the spray. Running a 12-bolt, and you guys are probably going to laugh at me, but for the past three years or so I've been running it with a welded up eaton posi. When the posi started to go out I didn't have the money at the time to pick up a spool, so my buddy said to pull it out and bring it over and he would weld it up for me to get me by till I could pick up a spool, so I did and it's been goin strong ever since, so I figure why **** with something that's working!
