Default Sprayed for the 1st time!!!

Well I have had a nitrous kit on my car for probably 10 months now, and never used it(just didnt have a good setup). Well I never understood, what the big deal was about nitrous. I would always hear people talk about how its addicting to spray and just so much fun. Well now I understand, today I grew some ***** and sprayed a 100shot and holy **** was it awesome! I understand how its addicting, and after I did it, I was pretty much shaking. I didnt have enough jets for a 150 shot, so im gonna do some math and figure out what I need. I know it was only a 100 shot, but for being a virgin on nitrous it was amazing!

I also wanted to think a lot of guys on here, because a lot of you have helped me out with things lately. Also want to thank Hsw for making the microedge, it works awesome!

150 shot here I come, also the track on wed!

yeah man honestly, if they have a good tune on it there isnt nothing to worry about it. I sprayed my car a couple more times today and it just keeps pulling like crazy!

well guys went to the track tonight and ran a 7.43 at 96mph. 60 was 1.75 a whole of room for improvement. My bottle pressure was at 750 which its supposed to be at 950. which really screwed me, but i forgot my torch so owell. Im going next week on a 150 hit and a torch, looking for a 6.90

small cam, headers, 100 shot. its actually a 125 crank shot so do that math?

Bottle pressure was 750, thats pretty much not using nitrous. bottle pressure is important. also I didnt stall the car either, I launched from 1000rpm.

again this is my first time at the track also, besides when my car was stock. which I rana 8.68. So I have to learn how to race my car at the track. find the right bottle pressure, tire pressure and launch.

theres a lot more in the car, its my fault it didnt do high 6 pass.

what size cam? intake? tune? gears? converter size? etc...

its a 100 shot to the ground..

bottle pressure at 750 is low and will definitely effect it.. but its not the same as not using nitrous..

you dont need to launch at a high RPM.. *most* cars do better just taking slack out of it.. raise it up to about 1-1200RPMs then floor it.. it will also stall higher.
every car is different though, find out what is best for yours..

what do you run on motor? it had the mph for a high high 6.9-7.0 pass.. just need the short time.. suspension? tires?

no motor runs... Cam is 224/230 591lift. 3500 stall 3.73 gears.
26x11.5-16 et streets, 19 psi. it has been tuned 380 motor, and 500 on the hit.

lol yeah i know its using nitrous, but im sure it messed with it pretty good.

Im a newb man I have to learn my car at the track, to get that good time. I have sfc, lca's and thats it. any recommendations?

ahhh...
drop the pressure in your tires down to around 14 and see if you can hook with it there..
like i said, you should be fine just taking slack out around a grand and then flooring it.. dont worry about leaving on the green light, make sure you get a good launch..
you dont have to do a john force burn out..

also, i would highly recommend making 1-2 motor passes before nitrous.. get a feel for the track and make sure the car is up to par.. then start with a 75, 100, 125/150, 175/200.. however you want to go..

do you not have an intake?

My car was very very wavy going down the track, is that normal with slicks? didnt know if part of that was because of pressure. Ill try launching like that and see what happens.

also i forgot it does have a ls6 intake manifold.

yes, that is normal... you definitely need less pressure.. i dont make on motor anywhere near what you make on nitrous.. i have full BMR suspension and my car spins with 16lbs of air in it.. not much, but it does..

i thought it did..

sounds like it likes the nitrous... curious to see times on motor!
